AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest free tax assistance and preparation service. It is open to all age groups, there is no fee for
preparation of tax returns, and AARP membership is not required. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers are trained and IRS-certified each year to ensure they know about and understand the
latest changes to the U.S. Tax Code.

There are no age limits or income limits, but assistance is limited to returns within the scope of Tax-Aide training. In addition to bringing
all tax documents for 2018, taxpayers need to bring photo IDs for the taxpayers, Social Security cards for all family members, and their 2017 tax return.
